DataManager is a database designed to apply
a Customer based organization to the tracking of Production images &
files. |

A Customer based web-shared directory. |
|
The Customer submits Jobs via web browser; auto creates Job Record & Job
folders. |

The Customer accesses Virtual Workspace &
copies files into the new Job Folder. |
|
DataManager tracks all files that have been
added to the shared directories. |

|
|
|
Folder Profiles are used to generate Job’s
folder structure on WIP server volumes. |
|
|
|
Folder Profiles store hidden attributes for each
folder within the Job. |
|
|
|
DataManager tracks all changes within the Job’s
folders. |
|
|
|
Job folder’s contents can be viewed as
thumbnails. |
|
|
|
Production can instantly navigate to Job’s
files. |
|
|
|
|
Host site determines Library’s folder structure. |
|
|
|
Libraries are created in Data-Manager &
their contents are cataloged & thumbnailed. |
|
|
|
Libraries can be assigned to Customers. |
|
|
|
Libraries can be purged for duplicates. |
|
|
|
Production can instantly utilize Library files
for Jobs. |
|
|
|
Customers can organize, keyword, & download
Library files via the web. |
|
|
|
|
Completed Jobs are added to the Archive Queue. |
|
|
|
Jobs in the Archive Queue are assigned an
Archive Volume. |
|
|
|
During the archive process, Job files are
cataloged, thumbnailed, copied, & removed according to the Folder Profiles in use. |

|
|
All the Job fields are instant search criteria
for Archived Jobs. |

|
|
Customers can organize & key-word Archived
Files via the web. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Files that have been processed through workflow
folders can be set to do one of the following: |

Create Records in DataManager. |
|
|
|
Move Files into the designated folder within the Jobs folder &
create records. |
|
|
|
Copy Files into the designated folder within the
Jobs folder & records created for both. |
|
|
|
|
|
Thumbnails can be set to create automatically. |
|
|
|
|
|
Workflow Files can be archived with the Job. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
This set of tabs is used for Asset Management
implementations. |

|
|
|
|
Job Notes tab can be used to enter User
time-date stamped Job Notes. |

|
|
|

By switching Preview Status, files can be
automatically published to the Web

Once Jobs have been archived, they appear on the
Archived Jobs list on the left side. |

Any Job field or any files meta data can be used
as search criteria. |

- Ask for Archived Files to be retrieved &
posted to the designated Virtual Directory. |
|

- Design the New Project using new &
supplied Files. |
|
- Submit the New Project with files to DM’s
Host site. |
|
- Publish Job based PDF files for the
Customer to soft-proof. |
|
- Automatically calculate usage for all web
activity. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Customer fills in basic Job ticket. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Customer locates the New Job from the list of
their Jobs. |
|
|
|
|
Job Detail windows opens with all files that are Published for
this Job. |
|
|
|
|
Customer locates the New Job from the list of
their Jobs. |

|
|
|
|
Host site works on Job. |
|
|
|
Workflow files have been created & Qc’ed. |

Customer clicks on URL in email. |
